I have been working as a mental health counselor for 15 years, treating anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral issues, anger management, and guiding individuals to overcome adverse life events and eliminate barriers to living a fulfilling life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In my approach to care I emphasize focusing on your priorities. I also think it's important to help you resolve unhealed past wounds as they often connect to present day difficulties. I like to guide individuals in accepting and loving all aspects of who they are, while helping them adapt to and find harmony with the life transitions, changes, and challenges that come with aging and the uncertainties of life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a first session we spend time creating a good therapeutic relationship, and do a thorough exploration of your past so that I may gain an understanding and a roadmap of how to serve you best. We establish mutually agreed treatment goals and help you gain an understanding of how therapy works and how we will address your goals during our time together.
