With that said, are you happy with your life? Are you struggling with the chocolates in your box or the cards dealt to you? We welcome the opportunity to offer new perspectives that could lead to a more fulfilled life. What should a new client know about working with you?

Client can expect Dr. Howard to listen attentively while they share what lead them to choose Dr. Howard and how she can best help them. The first session can feel a little ackward at first because it may be your first time talking about yourself, your current place in life and hearing yourself admit that you want things to be better. Despite this awkwardness, we work together as a team. Dr. Howard will need to ask questions because the assessment helps her gather information about your present, past and future goals for therapy. Talk about what you feel most comfortable. Dr. Howard hopes that she creates a holding environment for client's to feel comfortable to share their stories and experiences in a safe non-judgmental approach to allow for clients to purge what they give themselves permission to share. *I DO NOT PRESCRIBE MEDICATION* *NOT PANELED WITH COMPSYCH (BCBS)^

My visits with Dr. Howard comes with such great ease. She so authentic and can connect with you. I really appreciate her and our sessions.
I truly enjoy my visits with Dr. Howard. I have had 6 therapists during my life and besides the first one who took me to Disneyland, I have never had any real connections with them. One of the things I appreciate about Dr. Howard is that she is honest, even when you don't want honesty, but you need it. It is hard to explain, so I will do the best I can. When truly sad, she knows how to gently comfort you, and when maybe you might be pouting, she knows how to switch her tone to match what is needed in the moment. To sum it up, she may not be for everyone. If you are looking for someone to coddle and baby you, and expect her to do all the work for you, she may not be the one for you. But if you are willing to put in the work, acknowledge and appreciate when she doesn't baby you, and overall, someone who is going to tell you the absolute truth - because we need to hear it, Dr. Howard is that one.
The environment is always super comfortable and I've never had a problem with opening up about my feelings or experiences. The feedback, skills and tools given to me by Dr. Howard has always been on point for me and I've never felt as if I've been pointed in the wrong direction or not properly heard by her. Overall, my sessions with Dr. Howard are always incredibly positive and productive.
When I first started seeing Dr. Howard I was so afraid of opening up and sharing pieces of my life, now I’m so glad I stuck it out. She’s comforted me, guided me, and given me the tools necessary to keep growing and thriving.
Dr. Howard is very experienced and professional. She is considerate of how previous experiences may have impacted patients and their viewpoints and is honest in her assessments. I am really appreciative to have found such a great therapist.
My visits with Dr Howard are awesome. Dr Shannon is my life saver. Not that I was thinking of taking my life, but I’m able to handle stressful situations and people. I’m able to open up to her in ways I’ve never been able to before. She has helped me tremendously. I recommend her highly.
Dr. Howard has to be one of the most down-to-earth and knowledgeable therapists I’ve had. She shows empathy and empowers you to think freely and openly about your experiences. Whenever I speak on triggers, she helps me to explore those triggers and dig a little deeper. I’ve been seeing her for a little over two months now and I’m excited to continue my journey!
Dr. Howard is SO caring and knowledgeable. She takes any and all goals set by the patient very serious and will hold you accountable. Over the past four years, Dr. Howard has obviously seen me through many seasons and moments of my life and her care and support has been consistent throughout. She takes her job very serious and is committed to helping you reach your goals.
After a technical issue with the televisit, this provider charged me as a no show against the platform policy. Then when customer service requested the refund, she referred me to another provider for anger management as a retaliative measure when I was seeking care for smthg else. Highly unprofessional. Do not recommend.
