Psychotherapist

I believe you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in Florida and a Certified Life Coach, with a Master's in Social Work from Walden University. My experience spans inpatient and outpatient care, including individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, grief and loss, substance use, and trauma, working with tweens, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I use a client-centered, compassionate, and solution-focused approach to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I incorporate therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and grounding techniques, tailored to your needs and goals. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. One of my favorite reminders is "one step at a time." I believe healing and growth do not happen overnight, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward greater self-awareness, healthier coping skills, and a life that feels more fulfilling.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I support individuals and families navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, mood disorders, neurodivergence, relationship and family challenges, stress and life transitions, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Whatever is bringing you in, I want you to know your experiences matter and support is available. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out before we start. Outside of sessions, I enjoy cooking, creating art, reading, and spending time with family and friends, and I bring that same warmth and genuine care into how I show up for my clients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session together, we will explore what is bringing you to therapy and start building a plan tailored to your goals. From there, I draw on approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and grounding techniques, choosing what fits you rather than a one size fits all plan. We will look at how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect, and build practical coping skills you can use between sessions. Many clients notice meaningful shifts within the first few sessions, with steady progress as we continue working together. Sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and the plan can shift as your needs and goals change over time.
