Sharon Corliss, LCSW

Psychotherapist
MA
Welcome. I’m Sharon Corliss, MSW, LICSW, a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over eleven years of experience helping adults navigate life’s most difficult challenges. I provide virtual therapy for clients in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Florida, and Texas offering a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with veterans and individuals facing complex emotional and psychological challenges. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, recognizing that every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are different. I use evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and psychodynamic therapy. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. Whether you’re struggling with the effects of trauma, coping with the loss of a loved one, managing anxiety or depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, I will meet you with empathy, respect, and genuine care. We will move at a pace that feels right for you while focusing on your goals and building on your strengths. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop resilience, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
