Everyone needs someone to talk to, especially when things seem out of our control or in constant flux. My goal is to understand each client from a non-judgmental stance and establish a trusting relationship that provides support, empathy, integrity, and genuineness. I focus on the strengths of each individual to help them reach their full potential. I believe that while everyone has bad days and negativity, with help, each person can become the conduit to solve their own problems. I help clients reach goals, face challenges, and develop unique skills to foster a better future. My approach is integrative counseling tailored to the individual, concentrating on the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the client. I understand that reaching out can be difficult, and each client has already begun their journey by finding the right counseling fit.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and History from Lake Forest College and my Master's degree in Counseling from National Louis University. I currently work as a school-based counselor for Rosecrance.
I have been practicing counseling and therapy for five years and love what I do. I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, spending time with my family, and playing video games. I am optimistic and outgoing with a high level of energy. I aim to be a positive role model and strive to improve a little each day.
