“As first impressions go, Shaye was great. Her introduction made me feel comfortable. She was a good listener. I think her method of counseling will be helpful. I don't need a shoulder to cry on, I need someone to straight talk with me. Shaye can do that without being mean.”

Getting to know Shaye Brewer

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in California and Nevada, specializing in individual and group therapy. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Georgia and have over 20 years of experience providing services to adults and adolescents, including case management and individual and group therapy. I work with clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and other modalities to help them learn how to recognize and change unhealthy or painful patterns in their lives. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges. I have also supported individuals who have experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive, and I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. The work is not always easy or comfortable, but it is rewarding and has the power to bring lasting positive change to our lives. I hope to bring what I've learned to my work with clients-not as an expert or someone with all the answers, but as a coach or guide. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Shaye is so amazing! I love how supportive she is and how she is always honest with me. She has improved my overall wellbeing in so many ways.
Shaye listened, she didn’t allow me to just dictate where the conversation went but also gave me the freedom to expound on and explore my thoughts and explanations of them.
