What should a new client know about working with you?
In my opinion (and from evidenced based models, of course), one of the most helpful parts of therapy can be simply normalizing situations/emotions that can feel abnormal. So, I spend a lot of time validating and normalizing situations which usually leaves clients finding acceptance of their situations. This helps to reduce suffering and create peace within my clients. After we find acceptance, we can move towards exploring steps that you'd like to take towards growth! Hopefully, you'd leave each of our sessions feeling understood and with clarity!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

My first appointment was abruptly cancelled 15 minutes after it was already supposed to be started, and then my second appointment started 10 minutes late. I get that things come up, but I felt like my time was not respected and there was no apology for the wait time.

She’s been encouraging and kind, and has been able to eloquently express feelings I’ve had for decades but couldn’t put a name to. She’s pushed me to go deeper and explore more challenging topics than I ever have with a therapist. A few sessions with her have done more for me than years spent with my previous therapist.

I’ve been through about half a dozen therapists she’s been the best. I’d pretty much given up on getting help but I decided to give grow a shot since was convenient and I was super lucky to get Ms.olive as my provider. I know I still got a lot of work to do but now I believe I can do it.
