Life has a way of throwing things at us that we didn't expect. These moments or seasons in life are usually the ones that impact us the most. Sometimes we just need someone to walk with us through these difficult journeys-someone who can provide a safe, loving, non-judgmental space so we can deal with all that life is throwing at us. No one deserves to be without this space to work on making their best life a reality. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas since 2019. I completed my undergraduate degree from East Texas Baptist University in 2013 and earned my Master's in Counseling from Liberty University in 2018. Since then, I have worked in a variety of private practice settings ranging from traditional private practice to a birth center to a pediatric therapy clinic. I have been trained to implement several evidence-based therapeutic treatments in session, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and psychoeducation surrounding cognition. These theoretical approaches help my clients gain the knowledge and solutions needed to make necessary life-changing choices. As a counselor, it's important that I maintain transparency, honesty, vulnerability, and integrity to support trust and growth in the therapeutic relationship. Currently, I specialize in working with young adults and millennials. Reaching out is no small act on your part. It takes courage and faith that everything will be alright once you open up about the most difficult stuff you've been going through. My hope is that therapy will become a safe space for you and that you'll feel it was one of the best decisions you have ever made. When I'm not seeing clients, you'll most likely see me running after my two boys who have special needs and hanging out with my husband of 11 years. Beyond that, I enjoy getting into my newest DIY project, loving on my two dogs, Harley and Joy, and participating in activities at my church.
