What should a new client know about working with you?

The first therapy session can feel like a source of anxiety for some clients. If you are feeling anxious about your first therapy session, that's normal. My goal as your therapist for the first session is to get to know you and for you to see if you feel comfortable with me. Following the first session we will discuss your goals regarding what you want to get out of therapy. After we have worked together for a while you will have a clearer understanding on how you want to grow in your life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

A little awkward. Her lights in her home were off and I could only see half her face. There were long periods of silence after I would talk. She brought up the fact that we were almost out of time, a few different times.
