I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling from California State University, Fresno. I believe therapy is a space to really form a deeper relationship with yourself. I'm honored to be invited on your journey to gently guide you in creating a stronger, more connected relationship with your mind.
My approach
Depending on what best fits the client, I enjoy using cognitive behavioral and rational emotive therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness.
My focus
I work with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, phase-of-life difficulties, and trauma histories. I love it when clients are eager to explore their minds and really focus on their internal processing.
My communication style
Clients would consider me direct and transparent. They might feel like they can say anything and I won’t judge them. They tend to feel safe and curious because my intention is to foster an environment of acceptance and understanding.
My journey to mental healthcare
I love the mind. I've always wanted to help people self-actualize, and I consider mental health work to be of the highest importance.
My goals for you
Within the first few sessions, and also throughout our meetings, we both determine goals for treatment. I find the process collaborative and evolving—just as relationships tend to be.
