Hi there, I'm Sherita!
My name is Sherita Tartt. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I began my clinical experience in 2014 and have over 15 years of experience in mental health, including both pre- and post-licensure. I use solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing in my practice. My techniques are highly individualized. I provide interventions, techniques, and tools that clients can use long after therapy ends—things they can carry with them for life.
My approach
My primary modalities and specialties include solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I meet clients where they are, recognizing that each person is at a unique stage of healing and processing. I guide clients away from their problems and toward solutions so they leave each session equipped with new ways to handle challenges. This approach helps clients move further from their initial struggles and spend more time focused on solutions. I specialize in working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, work-related issues, mental health maintenance, stress-related concerns, substance use, and more.
