Sherri Larson, LCPC

Psychotherapist
IL
I have found that many people enter therapy not because of a complex mental health issue but because of a general feeling that life is not what they would like it to be. I've been there. Many years ago, I embarked on my own personal growth journey, and I believe that has made me a more compassionate, empathic therapist. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Bradley University and have been a therapist for over 30 years, specializing primarily in depression/anxiety, relationship issues, and addiction/alcoholism. I am very active in the therapeutic process and provide direct feedback and suggestions for implementing lifestyle changes. I believe that pain shared is pain lessened and that people can and do recover from issues that have been troubling them for years. I work with individuals and couples, utilizing a cognitive behavioral approach. Think you're ready to start making the changes you've been thinking about for quite some time? Call me. Let's talk about it. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
