Getting to know Sheryl Stiffler

If you are struggling with feelings of sadness or worry, or feeling alone and uncared for, I would welcome the opportunity to support and encourage you in your journey toward growth and healing. Additionally, I will work with you on goals like becoming a more effective parent, finding a satisfying career, exploring spiritual concerns, and coping with conditions like attention deficit disorder. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University, I partner with individuals and couples to reach their goals. I have over 18 years of experience working with people of any age, including teens and children.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment, and to empower you to utilize your existing strengths while developing new skills that are solidly based in science and research. As a marriage and family therapist, I offer a unique perspective that can help you heal from past hurts and help you build satisfying, healthy relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Making a decision to begin counseling can bring hope and relief, and also be scary or intimidating. My desire is to create a safe and comfortable refuge where you can explore and express feelings, identify solutions, and grow in your ability to develop healthy, supportive relationships. I welcome meeting with you to talk further about your needs and goals.
