What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t have to explain why your mind spirals or why it’s so hard to “just stop overthinking.” I get it. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down without judgment, but also not stay stuck. Some days we’ll process what’s been weighing on you. Other days, we’ll focus on practical tools to help you manage anxiety, improve self-talk, and handle stress in real time. I’m collaborative, honest, and supportive. I’ll meet you where you are, but I’ll also help you gently challenge the patterns that are keeping you stuck. No pressure to be perfect—just real, meaningful progress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We’ll start by talking about what’s actually been going on, not the surface-level version, but what’s underneath the stress, overthinking, or self-doubt. From there, we’ll identify patterns, triggers, and the thoughts that keep you stuck. I’ll introduce practical tools using CBT and mindfulness to help you manage those moments in your daily life, not just in session. Over time, you’ll start to feel more aware, more confident in your responses, and more in control of your emotions instead of overwhelmed by them.
