Hello there, I am Shurren.
Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by life's stressors?
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in San Diego, CA. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. My goal is to create a safe space where my clients feel free to tackle difficult situations and face their fears. I pride myself on working with couples and individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I approach my clients on a unique basis and focus on individual trauma, attachment, or relationship issues that can affect day-to-day life. Reaching out for help can be scary, but when you find the support you need, growth and change happen. We will work collaboratively to focus on growth and empowerment. Together, we will overcome feelings of hopelessness, worry, and fear. Let’s work together and focus on your healing.

You will walk away feeling heard and empowered. throughout our time together you will learn how to implement tools that will help with daily functioning. You will feel supported and empowered.
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
