I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and walk toward healing, growth, and stability. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach My approach to counseling is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs while integrating techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to support you with empathy and professionalism while equipping you with the tools to thrive. My focus I work with adolescents, adults, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and relationship challenges. I also have a strong interest in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and those navigating the intersection of mental health and the justice system. My communication style My communication style is warm, genuine, and direct. I aim to create a judgment-free space where clients feel seen and respected. I balance compassion with clarity, offering both encouragement and honest reflection to support growth and self-awareness. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a mental health professional began with a deep interest in understanding human behavior, which led me to pursue dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Augusta University. I later earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same university. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in this field and helping others find hope and healing through therapy.
