Getting to know Silvana Picardo

Hi there, I'm Silvana! I would love to be your emotional compass and help you find hidden treasures in your life journey. I have been a licensed therapist for over 20 years, and I am passionate about my work. My approach mostly comes from training in Compassionate Inquiry, Internal Family Systems, and NLP; I have years of experience with trauma release and self-connection. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Psychology from Albizu University. Anxious? Depressed? Disconnected? Hurting? Angry? I would help you find yourself. I focus on trauma therapy and am also Certified in Domestic Violence issues. We need an intimate, quiet space where I can help you heal. I was raised in trauma and suffered through my younger years. Much of the work I share with my clients comes from my own healing journey. My approach is to focus on what is most pressing to you in the moment. I will provide you with many skills, and we can move into other areas as we establish a gentle therapeutic relationship. In our first session, I will be here for you with a nonjudgmental, compassionate mind, knowing we are all perfectly imperfect humans.
