What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative tone to therapy. My communication style is direct but compassionate — I aim to meet you where you are while gently challenging patterns that may no longer serve you. I value transparency, active listening, and creating a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether we’re navigating heavy emotions or celebrating progress, I strive to build trust and openness in every session. Before I became a licensed clinical social worker, I spent a lot of time volunteering in my community; I have always had a deep desire and strong commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around me. My commitment to the field of clinical social work reflects a combination of personal values, experiences, and an unwavering passion for contributing to the welfare of others and society as a whole.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I help clients set and reach treatment goals by first identifying what truly matters to them — whether it’s finding relief from anxiety, improving relationships, healing from trauma, or building confidence. We collaborate to create goals that feel meaningful, realistic, and flexible. Throughout treatment, I check in regularly to track progress, adjust strategies, and celebrate wins — big or small. My approach is strengths-based and empowering, so you feel supported and motivated as you move toward the changes you want In our first session, I focus on creating a comfortable, open space where you can share what’s bringing you to therapy at your own pace. I complete an assessment with you; we'll explore your goals, current challenges, and any relevant history that feels important to you. I’ll also ask some guiding questions to help me understand how I can best support you. You’re welcome to ask me questions, too — the first session is about building trust and getting a feel for whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out — we take it one step at a time.
