Psychotherapist

I am a ChineseAmerican adoptee who grew up in Grand Junction, CO. My childhood memories consist of playing imaginative games with my sisters and close friends. In my youth, I was an active member in choir, performed in musicals, and focused on my dream of being a ballerina. When I was 18, I decided to move across the country and attend Goucher College in Baltimore, MD where I obtained my BA in Psychology and Womenâs Gender and Sexuality Studies. Between my undergraduate and graduate education, I moved to Australia and worked as a residential counselor for displaced youth. Upon my return to the USA, I attended the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work where I obtained my MSW with a concentration in Mental Health. Upon graduating, I began my private practice and served as a school social worker at Montview Elementary in Aurora Public Schools. Now, I focus on my therapeutic work and advocating. Fun fact, Im also a professional dancer and instructor at a local dance studio My lifelong journey of navigating what it means to be an AsianAmerican female adoptee fuels my passion for helping others make sense of who they are in this world.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
