I work with adults around implementing coping skills and building resilience to feel empowered to plan and work through the life disruptions you are experiencing. My communication style What you can expect in a therapy session is authentic, non-judgmental, open-minded, and interactive communication that fosters an environment of positive regard, transparency, safety, and trust. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to a career as a therapist began very early for me as a child who was always noticing and curious about the experiences of others; that interest led to me frequently helping others during challenging times. Hence, it seemed natural and made sense for me to enter the field of therapy. My goals for you My ultimate therapy goal for clients is for you to experience an elevated sense of esteem, empowerment and dominion in your life such that you are able to take the reins of your life and ride happily off into the sunset to live your best life! My first session with you Our first therapy session overall will involve us beginning to know each other. As part of the first session, we will discuss your background that you feel is important for me to know about you in general, as well as background relative to your desire to seek counseling.
