Hi, I'm Sonya. Don't feel like yourself? Struggling with life challenges, feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or having relationship difficulties? Looking for some direction? There's help! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in four states (Illinois, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas) and a Board-Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Social Work from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. For over 15 years, I have been a psychotherapist providing individual, couple, and group therapy for stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship challenges. I am enthusiastic about helping individuals and couples reconnect to what's important in their lives and restore balance. My style is motivational, collaborative, and interactive. You will experience a non-judgmental, caring, and compassionate environment. There will be times I challenge you to move beyond your comfort zone-where growth and healing happen. What should a new client know about working with you?

In psychotherapy, you get out of it as much as you put into it. With this in mind, from the first session until the last session, you can expect to gain insight into your problems, learn ways to better manage stress, emotions, and relationships through developing healthy coping skills.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
