What should a new client know about working with you?

"DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time." My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by someone who knew the work well: my mom, who is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Through her guidance and mentorship, I developed a strong foundation in compassionate, patient-centered care early on. This experience shaped not only my career path but also my dedication to showing up fully for the people I work with, reinforcing my belief in the importance of empathy, connection, and creating a therapeutic space where you feel genuinely supported.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through these approaches, I help you better manage symptoms, strengthen emotional regulation, and improve your day-to-day functioning. Equally important to me is helping you reconnect with your own strengths and values through a strong emphasis on self-compassion. Together, we work within a patient-centered, trauma-informed framework that helps you better understand your thoughts, process difficult experiences, and develop effective coping strategies that work for your life. Because no two people are the same, I continuously adapt my style to best serve you, ensuring that every session feels purposeful, supportive, and genuinely yours.
