Getting to know Stacee Williams

Hello family. My name is Stacee Williams, LCSW. I am an African American female therapist with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I began my career in 2000 working in community mental health in Los Angeles. In 2007, I became a therapist, and in 2016, I was licensed as an LCSW in California. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I treat depression, anxiety, grief and loss, family issues, trauma, workplace discrimination, and symptoms of PTSD. My professional experience has focused on supporting Black women, women in general, and people of color. Healing is a long-term process, and it is very important to me both as a therapist and as a woman.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

It is easy for me to say that Stacee has been by far the most effective therapist I’ve worked with. She is authentic and this helps model what we’re working on when it comes to building self confidence and self worth. Overall, she is a great proportion of academic and genuinely authentic.
After struggling to find the right therapist, I’m so grateful to have found Stacee. From our very first session, she created a space where I felt safe, seen, and heard. As a Black woman navigating grief, trauma, and workplace stress, I needed someone who truly understood my experiences. Stacee’s cultural competence, empathy, and insight have made a world of difference in my healing journey. She challenges me in the best ways while also offering unwavering support. If you’re looking for a therapist who genuinely cares, is compassionate, and is truly invested in your growth, I highly recommend Stacee!
She is the perfect therapist for me! She helps me come to my own conclusions and offers a healthy perspective when I need it. She is also sensitive to what I may need in the moment whether it’s a moment to breath, a moment to cry or when to push me when I get in my own way. I’ve learned a lot about myself while working with her
She has been absolutely wonderful to work with!
