Hello! I'm Stacey, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist. I earned my Master of Arts Degree from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, in 2005, and my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY, in 2000. With over 20 years of experience as a mental health professional, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including private practice, community, school-based, day treatment, residential, and hospital alternative environments. While I've worked with clients of all ages, I have a special passion for supporting children, teenagers, and young adults. In our sessions, I offer individual and family therapy, utilizing a blend of art therapy, play therapy, sandplay therapy, and traditional talk therapy techniques. My approach is warm and empathetic, aiming to create a safe and supportive space for you. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, autism, self-esteem, identity, and relational difficulties. However, please note that I am not accepting new clients for couples therapy at this time. Originally from Maryland, I've also lived in Pennsylvania, New York, and California before settling in the beautiful state of Colorado. When I'm not working, I love to go on outdoor adventures with my family and our pets. I believe that everyone can benefit from a little extra support now and then. It would be my honor to be part of your support system and collaborate with you to help you achieve your goals.
