Psychotherapist
OH
Hello! I am so glad you are here! I know that it's often a very hard decision to make, but reaching out for support can be the greatest gift you give yourself. I am Stacey, a clinical mental health therapist who specializes in helping those who help others, the ones least likely to take the time for themselves. We all need to feel connected and supported, and you deserve that as much as those you are providing for. I primarily specialize in working with new moms or parents struggling to balance their own needs with those of others. I am a graduate of Xavier University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and have been working as a therapist for over 10 years, ranging from working with children and families in school settings and hospitals to adults and couples in private practice. In my work with children and families, it often seemed that the providers in these families needed support themselves for meaningful change to unfold. I transitioned to serving this population and have received additional training through Postpartum Support International to specialize in perinatal mental health, including postpartum depression and anxiety, infant and pregnancy loss, as well as transitions to parenthood and other life transitions. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to address the whole person. In addition to this work, I have a lot of passion for how the natural world can play a part in our mental health. I have additional training in mindfulness-based ecotherapy and have loved using this in my sessions to help those reach their goals and potential, improving their connections to their bodies, relationships, and world. If you feel like we might be a good fit, I would love to work with you on your journey to wellness. Let's take this step together.
