Stacey Yun, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Stacey! Hi, my name is Stacey Yun, LMFT #145765. I believe everyone has a story worth telling, and real healing happens when you feel truly seen and heard. My approach is about compassion, curiosity, and collaboration—working together to help you feel grounded and aligned with who you really are. I specialize in helping people untangle family dynamics, figure out who they want to be, and navigate big life changes (the messy and exciting ones). Therapy doesn’t have to feel stuffy—I’m here to create a safe space where we can dig deep, laugh a little, and work through life’s challenges at your own pace. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Health Services from Pepperdine University, which shaped my understanding of mental health and equipped me to support clients with a holistic perspective. My approach My therapy style is flexible and tailored to fit your needs. I pull from a mix of styles, most influenced by psychodynamic, family systems, and humanistic approaches. That means we’ll explore how your past and relationships shaped you, unpack family dynamics, and build self-awareness and growth in a way that feels authentic and judgment-free. Think of it as a collaborative process where we explore your story and create space for healing and change. My focus I mostly work with adults 21 and over dealing with struggles like addiction, depression, anxiety, and adjusting to life’s changes. My communication style I have a warm, down-to-earth style and value authenticity. I think a little humor can make tough conversations easier. My goal is to build a space where you can be yourself, share what’s on your mind, and know there’s no judgment—just open, honest conversation. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist through my own journey—growing up as the youngest of three siblings with immigrant parents and navigating life’s ups and downs.
