Psychotherapist

I consider it a huge privilege and honor to get to do therapy work with folks, and I approach sessions with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for my clients. I understand the vulnerability it takes to show up, even when the work is hard. I want to provide a space to allow for healing and exploration to happen naturally, and at your own pace. Therapy works best when you feel seen, heard, and understood, and I intend to create that connection with my clients from the beginning! My approach My first experience of therapy was one of healing, exploration, and growth- as a client myself! I felt intrigued and inspired to offer the same support I received to others, and that process has been such a gift that continues to grow. My desire to help guide people through hard moments drives how I show up in sessions, and my compassion for the uniqueness of each client fuels an adaptive approach. I want you to show up in sessions as yourself, and to work with you to find a framework that feels best for your process. Taking the first step can be scary, and navigating the road of healing might even be too much to think about in the beginning. But we start small, and take steps as they come- getting to know you, setting helpful goals, talking about history and relationships, and checking in on how you’re feeling are my main focuses as we begin. My focus That nagging, anxious feeling that you've been pushing off for a while? The dreaded replay of that painful family conversation that keeps you up at night? The broken record of "you're not good enough" or "if only I could have..." that plays on loop in your mind? I'm here for all of that. My experience spans a wide variety of topics and needs, and my focus is always going to be on core emotions and relationship impact. We look at your history and experiences to see how they inform your present self and future goals.
