Hi there, I'm Stacy! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from McNeese State University and earned my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I promote and embrace the practice of mindfulness and gratitude, the value of human connection, and the importance of finding meaning in one's life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, camping, volunteering, and spending time with my family. My approach My practice is grounded in person-centered, developmental, and relational-cultural theories, and I frequently use mindfulness, body-centered, and psychodynamic interventions. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and genuinely value building rapport with clients. I support clients in finding a therapist who is a good fit for their individual treatment needs and goals. I believe in the inherent resilience of the human spirit and embrace a strengths-based lens when working with individuals who have experienced grief and loss as well as other challenges and stressors. I hope to help you engage and enhance your capacity for introspection, reflection, and self-awareness to better understand and navigate your past, present, and future, allowing you to feel empowered and hopeful despite grief, loss, and hardships. My focus I work with adult individual clients and promote mindfulness, gratitude, human connection, and the importance of finding meaning in life. As a clinical social worker, I have experience addressing a variety of issues, including grief and loss, trauma, and adjustment to life changes. I have collaborated with professionals on multidisciplinary teams in various settings and worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
