My ideal client is open to gaining insight into behavior patterns and problematic coping skills. I am kind and non-judgmental, but not afraid to give clients a little (figurative) nudge when necessary. I have experience working with all kinds of problems and diagnoses, both inpatient and outpatient, as well as individual and group settings. The majority of my experience lies in dual diagnosis treatment, working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnoses. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University, which has provided me with a strong foundation to support my clinical work. I have come to believe that many clients are struggling with unrecognized and/or unprocessed trauma, and I am passionate about helping them work through whatever is plaguing them. Regardless of diagnosis, I believe in treating clients holistically, focusing additionally on physical health and mindfulness. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, or something else that you can't even articulate, please know that it can get better. Therapy can be difficult, but with the right help, your symptoms can be decreased or even eliminated. Getting started is always the hardest part, so take that first step and reach out.
