Welcome! I am so glad you are here. Starting your mental health journey is not always easy, and I am proud of you for taking the first step in your next chapter. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I enjoy building meaningful connections and rapport. I take a client-centered approach to assisting you in meeting your personal goals. I can't wait to get to know you better and work with you to become the best version of yourself. My approach My style is rooted in evidence-based practices but tailored to your current needs. I use dialectical behavior therapy to help you manage difficult emotions, build coping skills, and improve interpersonal skills. This will give you more confidence in your thought patterns. My focus Whether you are experiencing anxious or depressive thoughts, navigating a difficult life transition, or trying to build confidence in who you are, we can work together to help you set and reach your personal goals. I also specialize in working with those who have been justice-impacted or worked in the carceral system. My communication style I focus on creating a therapeutic atmosphere that allows for open communication with no judgment. I want you to be as comfortable as possible sharing your experiences. I am empathetic and sensitive and want you to feel safe communicating in therapy. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy and social justice began as a teenager, witnessing community inequity. I realized many people did not have safe or healthy outlets but imagined who they could become if they did. I earned my Bachelor's degree in social work and completed an advanced standing Master's in Social Work program at Boston College in one year.
