Getting to know Stephanie Hardison

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Colorado, holding a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. I serve my clients with a pro-body and anti-diet lens, which means I actively support you in dismantling fatphobia. Along with providing fat-positive wellness, I offer a nurturing space to process career changes, burnout, and becoming a cycle breaker within the BIPOC community. As a first-generation daughter of immigrants, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment for folks who are either new to therapy or returning. I currently provide Solution-Focused Therapy to support my clients in their endeavors. This method uses a goal-directed approach to help find solutions to problems by focusing on client strengths and resources. Typically lasting 6-8 sessions, this therapy centers on the present and your preferred future.

What should a new client know about working with you?

"Our clinical space will be filled with self-compassion so that we can integrate your mind, body, and soul in healing relationships with your own body and others. Creating a safe, supportive, and growth-promoting environment is a high priority for me as your therapist. I focus on meeting my clients where they are and offer support in creating the optimal environment for flourishment. Since the modality I primarily use is Solution Focused Therapy, goal setting is key in creating a plan of action to utilize our time in session efficiently. We will work towards this goal over 6-8 weeks. "

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
