Stephanie Owen, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I am a Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of clinical experience. I hold a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University, where I also completed my undergraduate studies. I'm dedicated to providing a safe, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. My goal is to help you navigate challenges and gain insight so you can move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. I believe in working collaboratively and meeting you where you are on your journey. My approach is integrative, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic techniques. I tailor these methods to each client's needs, helping them challenge negative thought patterns, stay grounded, explore past influences, and understand the different parts of themselves. My aim is to create a supportive space for growth and healing. I typically work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I also specialize in helping those struggling with boundary issues, people-pleasing tendencies, and family dynamics. My approach focuses on providing support and tools to manage these challenges, helping clients build healthier relationships with themselves and others, and creating more balance in their lives. I create a warm, comforting, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. Our work together is collaborative, empathetic, and focused on re-powering you to grow at your own pace. It's a space for both understanding and gentle challenge to help you make meaningful change. I've always been drawn to helping people, which led me to become a therapist. I've spent the last 15 years learning and growing alongside my clients. It's been a rewarding journey, and I'm passionate about supporting others as they work through their struggles and discover their own voice and inner peace.
