Stephanie Sava, LPCC

Psychotherapist
OH
I am a huge believer in the idea that the relationship between therapist and client is the single greatest factor in determining the degree to which a client feels and is better. I love working with adolescents and young adults, helping to sort out a complex and confusing world. I also have worked for years with adults going through a variety of life challenges and am grateful for these relationships as well. My approach I am strength-based, empathetic, and hard-working. I will utilize concepts of CBT and DBT, assign homework, and teach mindfulness. My work is specifically tailored to each individual. I like to see clients frequently, initially (1 -3x per week if possible), and depending on progress, move to less frequent sessions going forward. Together, we will discuss presenting issues, history, and goals, and develop a treatment plan. From this plan, we will work hard together to uncover some of the barriers to functioning at a higher and happier level. My focus Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts and self-doubt? I work with young and older adults who are managing anxiety, life transitions, and those seeking support for self-esteem issues. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a growth plan that feels empowering and achievable. My communication style I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.
