Hi there, I'm Stephanie! Hello! My name is Stephanie Stavinoga, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. I earned my Master’s in Psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University and my Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Life can be really challenging at times. My approach to therapy is warm and compassionate. I have an eclectic approach, as everyone is different. I specialize in working with individuals who are neurodivergent, experiencing anxiety, or looking to make healthy changes in their lives. My approach I utilize a collaborative, strengths-based approach. My theoretical approach is eclectic; I purposefully select therapies that best suit the client, their situation, and beliefs about personal change. My focus I have worked hard to create a practice that invites all individuals, wherever they are in life. My commitment is to provide a welcoming, diverse, and motivating counseling experience where people come as they are, and I meet them where they’re at, regardless of their story. My communication style I create a welcoming environment. Therapy can be hard. I strive to foster understanding, empathy, and encouragement. Many clients say sessions feel like visiting with an old friend. Creating that safe place is one of my main goals. My journey to mental healthcare I find joy in making a difference in people’s lives. It’s humbling to be entrusted with helping individuals navigate challenges and work toward feeling safe, known, and confident. Being part of someone’s progress and growth is an incredible privilege.
