Hi there, I'm Stephen!
Hello! I am Stephen Lamberjack, Clinical Mental Health Counselor LMHC (MH 24119). I am a general practitioner with an eclectic approach that matches my clients' needs and goals. Based in Florida, I provide Telehealth Services statewide.
My approach
My treatment modalities include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt, Psychoanalytic, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy. I work to meet my clients where they are in life, tailoring treatment to their specific wants and needs. Together, we work toward the emotional and psychological release necessary for them to move forward as the best version of themselves.
My focus
As a general practitioner, I have worked with clients ranging from children as young as 5 years old to geriatrics. I have supported individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, chronic and terminal illness, life transitions, trauma, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, sexual identity, major psychological disorders, eating disorders, and much more.
My communication style
The patient-provider relationship is unique and different from advice given by family or friends, which can sometimes be confusing. I provide a safe, calm, accommodating, and personable environment where clients can work through whatever challenges they face, free of judgment. Therapy is not about giving advice; it is a unique space where you are given a sounding board to explore your struggles, with the therapist serving as a guide alongside you.
My journey to mental healthcare
I am a second-generation Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University and have dedicated myself to helping others through roles that advance my knowledge and skills as a practitioner. I believe a good practitioner is one whose learning is never done.
