“The fact he has put up with what I call 'my circus' and doesn't say anything when I interrupt (which I do relentlessly but am working on) is nothing short of miraculous. He's an excessive amount of patience with me and loves to help. Thank you so much sir!”

Getting to know Steven Kresha

My name is Steven Kresha, and over the past twenty years, it has been an honor to work in the mental health field, walking alongside clients on the healing path. In every stage of life, we encounter circumstances that have the potential to diminish our mental and emotional well-being. The good news is that you already have the resources available to grow, heal, and respond well to whatever life brings your way. My role is to help you access those resources and to provide you with some new tools if needed. The goal of our time together is not merely to address challenges you may be experiencing mentally and emotionally but to seek to increase the overall joy available to you in your daily life. I have been clinically working for the past seven years as a therapist, and I have worked with clients from various backgrounds and ages, from 12 years old to 65 years old. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University. My focus is on helping people struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, adjustment in different areas of life, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. In my practice, I've found the following modalities to assist clients with restoring mental and emotional balance while increasing their joy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy techniques. I look forward to walking the healing path together.
