Getting to know Steven Lecce

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the lasting effects of trauma? You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, or difficulty managing stress challenges that can deeply affect your relationships, career, and overall well-being. But you don’t have to face this alone. Healing is possible. With the right support, you can begin to reclaim your peace, rebuild your confidence, and move forward with greater clarity and strength. Your path to healing can start today. Starting therapy can feel intimidating—I understand that. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on real change. Therapy doesn’t have to be a drawn-out process of analyzing the past. Instead, I offer efficient, evidence-based support to help you move forward now—because your life is happening right now, and you deserve to live it fully. I specialize in trauma recovery and use proven methods like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based and trauma-informed care to help individuals, couples, and families heal. Whether you're managing symptoms of Complex PTSD, navigating life transitions, or rebuilding trust in yourself and others, I provide a safe space to reconnect with your inner strength and clarity. My goal is to help you release shame, fear, and confusion so you can build healthier relationships with yourself and those around you. Through our work, you’ll learn to regulate emotions, reduce distress, and experience deeper self-connection and resilience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy can feel intimidating—I get it! I believe it should be efficient and transformative, not a years-long process of over-analyzing pain. Your life is happening now, and you deserve to live it fully. I use evidence-based practices like EMDR, IFS, and trauma-informed care, paired with deep respect for your unique journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a trauma healing therapist, I help clients heal from shame, fear, and confusion to develop a better relationship with themselves and with others. Trained in EMDR and IFS, I support individuals, in managing trauma symptoms, including Complex PTSD. I employ mindfulness to teach self-regulation of emotions and to cultivate intimacy with oneself.
