“One of Sue's strengths is her ability to listen. Not just hear, but listen. I have a tendency to talk quickly when i get charged up and Sue not only listens and responds and questions what I've said, but is good at slowing me down when needed. It is appreciated”

Getting to know Sue De Santo

Have you ever felt busy doing all the things you thought would bring you a happy life, yet still felt alone and disconnected from yourself and others? These feelings often lead people to turn to alcohol, drugs, food, shopping, or relationships in an attempt to create happiness, contentment, and joy. While these distractions may work for a short time, the key to moving forward is understanding why we seek them out. When we strengthen our relationship with ourselves, the outer world becomes more balanced and fulfilling. By slowing down and reconnecting with our mind, body, and spirit, we can face life’s challenges with a more stable and hopeful core sense of self. I specialize in treating relationship issues, addiction and substance abuse, depression, anxiety, job-related concerns, couples therapy, and divorce recovery. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, which informs my compassionate and holistic approach to care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients feel more confident and clear about what they want in their lives and begin to be more compassionate with themselves. They begin to understand that the relationship with one's self is the key.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
