Hi there, I'm Summer! My name is Summer Post. I am a licensed counselor in Delaware, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I work with individuals who have experienced adverse experiences to help them take control back in their lives. My approach I utilize a wide range of approaches to assist individuals in meeting their goals, including EMDR, IFS, DBT, ERP, and Mindfulness. My focus My primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma. I work with a wide range of trauma types, including medical trauma. My communication style I focus on helping empower clients to take control back from their intrusive thoughts and the beliefs that create challenges for them. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I know that every person is powerful and can overcome anything. I want to help every individual recognize this and access their inner strength. Seeing clients reach that place is what drives me every day. My goals for you Goal setting involves clients identifying what they wish to accomplish and exploring the steps that can assist them in reaching those goals.
