Hello, I'm Susan Bramer, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with over 20 years of experience. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. I work with adults, couples, and teens on a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, women’s issues, couples’ concerns, and more. I have a warm, friendly approach and understand how important it is to find a therapist you can feel comfortable with and trust. My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I primarily work with clients presenting with depression, anxiety, grief, and couples issues. I am a warm, non-judgmental person who values making clients feel comfortable, heard, and safe. I have wanted to be a therapist since college, always having a talent for putting people at ease, showing empathy, and providing a safe space. My goal is to support you through a person-centered, collaborative approach. In our first session, I focus on making you feel comfortable, safe, and heard. These initial sessions are about building a therapeutic relationship and beginning the assessment process to identify the issues you most want to address.
