My approach
I predominantly utilize Solution-Focused Therapy, discovering what the client's bottom-line best hopes are as a result of therapy and highlighting their strengths, abilities, and resources to fully realize those hopes.
My focus
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or stress; those facing relationship issues, substance abuse challenges, parenting difficulties, and career-related concerns.
My communication style
I create a tone that makes me easy to talk to. I am attentive, genuinely interested in who my clients are and where they are at, and especially in what they want out of therapy. I convey the attitude that they truly have the answers, and I am here to support them in developing their own solutions by utilizing their strengths and abilities.
My journey to mental healthcare
I started in education as a teacher, then became a psychologist and an administrator of special needs and social intervention programs for children and families. As a licensed therapist, I have worked in private practice, led parenting groups, and spent several years providing therapy on U.S. military bases worldwide. I am now offering teletherapy services.
My goals for you
I encourage clients to narrow down their best hopes and reflect on the difference it would make in their lives to have those hopes become a true reality in their everyday experience.

I focus on what you would like to achieve in therapy, emphasizing what you want rather than what you no longer want. I want you to leave with an initial snapshot of what your life could be like if it were better.
