Susan Goodenberger, LMFT

Susan Goodenberger, LMFT

Psychotherapist
VA
Life can be challenging. For more than 25 years, I have been providing therapy services to help kids, adults, and parents navigate tough issues and life adjustments. Helping adult survivors of abuse and trauma has been my heart for many years. I also enjoy supporting college students through some of the most important years of their lives. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), which means I see everything through the lens of relationships, but I primarily work with individuals or parent-child relationships. I have provided both Christian counseling and secular counseling within a wonderful diversity of perspectives. I worked for many years in foster care and adoption and am an adoptive mother myself. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with the neurodivergent community. I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
