Hello, I am Susan Havens, LPCC-S. I have over 20 years of counseling experience and hold a Master's in Pastoral Clinical Counseling from Ashland University. I enjoy working with trauma and PTSD, and my goal is to strengthen my clients to be more productive in life. My approach includes CBT, motivation, solution-focused techniques, and brief therapy. My focus is to help those who are hurting-whether they have been too afraid to ask for help or were told nothing was wrong with them. My communication style is to get to know clients' strengths and build on them so they can be more productive and enjoy life. My journey to therapy was God-directed. My goals for you are to set your own goals, and together we will work on finding solutions to reach the best possible outcome. My first session with you is laid back, designed to get to know you and identify your goals and strengths.
