I have over 25 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transition challenges, and relationship difficulties. I recognize how difficult seeking help can be for anyone, no matter your age, background, or circumstance. My goal is to create a comfortable, relaxed, and trusting environment for my clients. I work to ensure my clients feel safe and supported as we collaborate to make the changes they are seeking in their lives. I am passionate about my work and continue to find it exciting and rewarding to witness the healing, growth, and change inherent in the therapeutic journey. I deeply respect the strength and courage it takes to face challenges and welcome the privilege of working together. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida.
What should a new client know about working with you?
After the first session my hope is that each client walks away feeling heard, understood and with a sense of relief. I know that finding a new therapist can be provoking and I believe that finding the best fit is very important. I believe therapy is collaborative and I strive to build a trusting and safe environment for my clients. My clients can expect to be treated with respect and without judgment. Therapy will help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and reactions, aiding you in healing and growth, leading towards a life that feels more meaningful, grounded and joyful. I welcome the opportunity to help you identify and reach your personal goals.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
