Getting to know Susana Andrade
I have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2013. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. My passion is helping clients with life's transitions while navigating common challenges that come with making difficult decisions or much-needed changes. We all go through difficult times while managing our busy lives, and sometimes we need a little help to make these changes as smooth as possible.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I always start my sessions by giving a brief overview of my background and experience. I then go over a few minor housekeeping things to help set the tone, which usually encourages questions from clients on how I can help them with a specific issue they have been dealing with. We will periodically review what is working and what is not, with the goal of the client seeing improvements in his/her life.
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I am grateful to have found Susana. She does a wonderful job at hearing me and validating how I feel or clarifying to understand my situation further. I appreciate that she works to find methods to help me, even if they are out of her expertise. She truly cares to see her patients mental health improve and is willing to admit when she may not be the best resource. I appreciate a therapist who can help me with my issues and be direct with me about what will help me that they cannot provide for me. She is truly a gem. I cannot recommend her enough.
