Getting to know Susanna Curry
Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in rural northern California. I studied in a master’s program in Child Development at the University of La Verne from 2016–2017. I graduated with my Master of Social Work (with honors) from the University of Southern California in 2019. I completed an internship with the Shasta County Office of Education and was employed there as an Educationally-Related Mental Health Specialist from 2017 to 2022. I'm currently employed at Shasta Community Health Center (a FQHC) as a Pediatric Behavioral Consultant, serve as a Clinical Instructor with Clinical Buddies, and work as a private therapist with Grow Therapy. Although I am specially trained to serve youth ages 0–18 and their caregivers, I also have experience diagnosing and treating adults and elders. I'm eager to learn from you while partnering with you to support your healing and growth.
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
