Getting to know Suzanne Brafman
Hi! My name is Suzanne, and I am honored to be considered as your therapist as you begin your journey back to yourself. Life has been so chaotic-do you feel like you lost who you were before the chaos began? Maybe you feel anxious about the future and which choice to make at the fork in the road. Maybe you thought you'd be somewhere else in your life, and you're not exactly where you imagined you'd be. Maybe the relationships in your life are not where you would like them. I want to help you get to the best version of yourself.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University and have been in the mental health field for over 25 years. I have worked in almost every level of care, supporting individuals, couples, children, and families. I have helped people struggling with anxiety, depression, addictive disorders, self-esteem issues, gender issues, and almost every disorder along the spectrum. An ideal client for me is anyone who is curious and willing to make new decisions for themselves to create the future they want.
I have always felt very appreciative and grateful that individuals and families have entrusted me to help guide them toward the life they want. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me-I look forward to meeting you!
What should a new client know about working with you?
After our first session, I want us both to take with us a sense of hope in starting this journey and our new relationship. Therapy is a process and I will do my best to find something for you to take with you every session. After a little while together, I hope that you will feel empowered to start to enjoy the benefits of the hard work you've done.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
