Hi there, I'm Suzanne! My name is Suzanne Xenakis (Zen-uh-kiss). I'm a licensed mental health therapist (LMFT - licensed marriage & family therapist) in California with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I work with adults of all ages, assisting them in making better sense of their lives in an increasingly bewildering world. Do you struggle with self-worth issues, anxiety, stress, depression; are you in a current life transition, grief-related, work struggles, or perhaps spiritual questioning? I believe we owe it to ourselves to create a satisfying life no matter what stage we are in. Our existence is a daily challenge, and troubles are a given. My focus I work with young adults, working adults, older adults, and seniors with mental health problems related to relationships, family issues, work issues, and transitions of all sorts. I work with clients to navigate relationships in difficult times and with challenging personalities. I have worked with a variety of conditions such as dysfunctional coping, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, co-dependency, social stressors, rejection sensitivity, adjustment disorders, women's issues, trauma, grief, and loss, to name a few.
