Hi, I am Suzie Amacker. I help people who struggle with anxiety and relationships feel a lot less anxious.
Are you always a little bit afraid that an anxiety attack is right around the corner? Have you been hit with surprise anxiety more times than you can count? I know exactly how you're feeling-the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, the feeling that the walls are closing in on you. Attacks can be terrifying, and I don't want you to suffer from them anymore. You have made a good choice in seeking help. Through therapy, I hope to provide a lasting, life-changing experience that will result in you feeling stronger and more satisfied with yourself and your relationships. Holistic practices can reduce anxiety tremendously, and I look forward to teaching you the tools to take your life back. It is important that you know you don't have to be alone in this journey.
I specialize in helping clients feel better, improve functioning, and enhance the different relationships in their lives. I am results-oriented with a kind and empathic, yet direct approach. If you are motivated and willing to work toward your goals, we can work together to get there.
I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University.

Believing that strong trusting relationships are critical, I use a warm and non-judgmentsl approach to gain a better understanding of you personally. Through open communication and curiosity I hope to foster an awareness of self that promotes adaptive change and supports you in creating the healthy and meaningful life you desire.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
