ME
A flared-up nervous system from trauma, anxiety, and shame can leave you feeling disconnected from your body, overwhelmed, and stuck. For women and LGBTQIA+ folks, these struggles can feel even more isolating. Somatic therapy helps by tuning into the body's natural ability to release stored tension and restore balance, making you feel more grounded, safe, and in control. I help women and LGBTQIA+ individuals reconnect with their bodies to heal from shame, trauma, and anxiety. My approach blends somatic therapy with trauma-informed care to support nervous system regulation, ease tension, and foster deep healing. This is a safe, queer-affirming space where you can rebuild trust in yourself and your body. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Kennesaw State University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy. Taking that first step into therapy can feel a little scary, but you're not alone in the process. I'm here to help. I offer online therapy for folks in Maine and provide a free 15-minute consultation so we can chat to see if we're a good match!

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you begin therapy with me, you'll find a compassionate, affirming space where your experiences are honored and your healing journey is deeply supported. I work primarily with women and LGBTQIA+ individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or weighed down by past trauma and anxiety. My approach focuses on the body-mind connection—using somatic therapy to gently guide your nervous system to a place of safety and balance. Together, we’ll explore what your body is holding and help you move toward feeling more present, empowered, and grounded.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, sessions will be guided by your needs, at a pace that feels right for you. We'll begin by building a sense of safety and trust, and from there, explore what’s coming up for you—whether that’s anxiety, trauma, stress, or disconnection from your body. I integrate somatic practices like grounding, breathwork, and gentle body awareness into our conversations to help you stay present and regulate your nervous system. Over time, we'll work together to identify patterns, release stored tension, and build resilience so you can feel more empowered and at ease. Each session is collaborative and centered around your goals, with room for reflection and practical tools you can carry into everyday life.
